With the start of Advent most houses decked up their windows already last week. One thing very nice here is that nothing is overdone. Very very rarely you see a house that is lit up with colorful flashing lights and courtyards filled with too many lighted animals and Santa's. When someone does that it looks so OTT!!!! Everything is simple and classy and as in everything else - Less is more for Scandinavians. I did my windows this weekend that instantly added so much warmth and coziness lifting up the mood. I can't complain much this year about the weather as the temperatures are still showing + oC and Sun is shining bright :-).
These lights below that I bought in India, suited perfect around my bathroom mirror. What was not so perfect is that the manufacturers didn't think about giving it a long cord at the end to make it convenient for plugging. I still miss that practicality in the technology :-).
When I was looking in my loft for something, I am so glad I found this completely forgotten moon ball tucked in a corner away from the sight . Ever since I put this up, I realized I do spend sometime looking at it every evening, as it gives me a feeling of watching a full moon so close in my window.
I also like my ceramic Nimbu (lime)and Mirch(chilli) hanging above it :-). What do you say
and RIP! the timeless Dev Anand
Wow these ceramic lime n mirchi seems to be so real n ur moon is amazing :)
